Practice Manager

Ricus Ungerer

Ricus is Tanya’s husband and has been managing the practice successfully from 2015. He is an astute business man and handles all the financial and personnel aspects of the business.
Ricus is a very dedicated dad and family man. He loves camping, target shooting and fishing and has a special interests in sheep farming.

Tanya graduated in 2002 from Onderstepoort, Pretoria. After almost 17 years in practice, she is still passionate about veterinary science and the welfare of her patients and clients.
Tanya loves working with animals, but understands that each animal comes with a client attached to it! Tanya is especially interested in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
When Tanya is not working at the clinic or spending time with her family, she loves to run, swim and cycle and regularly participates in competitions.

Annemarie Gebhardt

Originally from De Doorns, Annemarie graduated from Onderstepoort, Pretoria in 2017. She then completed her CCS (Compulsory Community Service) year in Pretoria. She then decided to come “home”.
She now also runs our branch clinic, De Doorns Animal Clinic, in De Doorns, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Annemarie loves spending time with her lovely two daughters and dog called Daisy. If time allows, she likes to go for a run as well.

Jackie Prinsloo

Jackie has been part of our team for the past eleven years. Her title might suggest “receptionist” only, but she practically runs the front shop!
Jackie loves chatting to clients and spoiling their pets. She is very passionate about her job.
Jackie shares her house with her human family, as well as four dogs.

Riana Bruwer

Riana has been a very dedicated part of our team for the past six years. Riana has exceptional organisational skills and puts them to good use at the clinic.
Riana loves reading in her free time and shares her house with her husband and two children, as well as eight furry, four-legged children!

Tinashe Mufute

Tinashe is the newest member of our team. Originally from Zimbabwe, he is now in training at our clinic. Tinashe has a quick learner and has an amazing way with animals.
When he is not working, he enjoys reading and learning as much as he can.
